Frequently asked Questions

  • Q.  Why was ClubHouse-PM's started?

  • A.  It was started to help the Homeowner live a better life - taking care of their most

valuable asset (their Home) - all the while bringing the Professional Contractor into

a trusting relationship with the Homeowner - eliminating scams and rip off artists

The Club Goal is to make every Home in America the Best it can be!!

  • Q.  I have read the Material and can definitely see why it is to my advantage to Join

the Club but why would a Contractor want to Join?

  • A.  Club Contractors Join for many reasons - here's a few:

             1.  The Club has created a scheduled program and record keeping format to make

it easier for the Club Contractor - Homeowner to follow

             2.  The Club does the research on Home innovations freeing up the Contractor

                   doing his own research

             3.  The Club provides support and information valuable to the Contractor

             4.  The Club Contractors realize the best way to grow their business is through

getting involved with people that are concerned with their home - getting to

know the homeowner and their needs by creating a trusting - long lasting

                  relationship

             5.  Club Contractors like to "keep their foot in the door" so to speak by being there

                  for the Homeowner

             6.  Widening the knowledge of the Contractor through the support from the Club

  • Q.  Well I can just call one of the Pro's from the free Lists or Advisors on the internet

when I need something done - why Join the Club?

  • A.  The Club also has a Free Do-it-Yourself option - But we feel the Club gives the

Homeowner a more intimate relationship with a Truly Qualified local Contractor.

It's a proven fact that monthly Preventive Maintenance is a better practice for

keeping equipment running smoothly and Energy efficient -- Plus the Lists and

Advisors are basically one time events - not knowing if you'll get the same Pro the

next time - an extremely cold non caring relationship - one time events usually

cost more - the Club has discounts for many events

  • Q.  What if my Remodeling Contractor doesn't do Heating and A.C., Electric or

             Plumbing?

  • A.  If your  Contractor doesn't get involved with all of the other Trades - he has his own

team of Tradesmen that he uses on his jobs -- he uses them because they are

good for his business - which means they do good work - a nice perk of the Club is

your Contractor is the "main" -- if the Homeowner or Contractor is unhappy with

any workmanship regarding a sub - your Club Contractor is responsible to have

them correct the situation - his subs have to also join the club and show their

picture - bio - license and insurance for the Homeowner to see on the Clubs site

In most cases the subs have also agreed to work at Club discount prices

  • Q.  Why would Club Contractors and their subs work for a discounted rate?

  • A.  By being a part of the Club it helps them build their business in keeping

their customers happy creating that trusting relationship - These Contractors don't

mind doing small items at a discount - knowing that if and when that bigger

remodeling job comes along where the Homeowner needs three bids - they have

more than an excellent chance of landing the job - who would you rather have do

your job - a stranger or someone you know and trust

  • Q.  Why would any Club Contractor or his Subs agree to do small repairs or

Maintenance projects at the present Club Rate of $35.00 per hour per man

with no service / call out / drive out / Gas or Vehicle Charge?

  • A.  For a Contractor the Club Rate of $35.00 per hour per man plus materials is way

below their normal Rate - by joining the Club and agreeing to these Rates shows

the Homeowner they are interested in building that long lasting trusting

relationship and not out for the one time "get as much as you can" approach.  In

return if and when it comes time for the bigger projects that requires three bids

they want to be one of them and they can usually explain why the other bids are

higher or lower - the low bid is not always the best bid - a lot of times estimates are

unclear of what is involved or covered - your Contractor can explain this to you

  • Q. So on his monthly routine the Contractor suggests we fix / correct certain items in

my Home - Do we have to do them?

  • A.  No!  Depending on his opinion of the severity of the issue you still have the

ultimate decision to let him proceed or wait till another time -- sometimes you can

actually take care of the issue yourself - but don't forget these items are completed

by the Contractor with the Clubs special discounted rates

  • Q.  Last Month my Contractor said one of the items to be checked that month was for

Radon in my Home.  Then he said it was going to cost me for the Procedure -- is

             this correct?

  • A.  Your Contractor comes out once a month and does his PM's - Checks for Free --

but if some of the tests involves a purchase and time to accomplish - you will be

charged - he will let you know before hand what the estimated charge would be -

you can always refuse or do it at a later time - remember Club rates apply for these

items - and - it's to your advantage to have them done but it's totally up to you

  • Q.  If my House needs a new Roof do I get the low hourly Club rates?

  • A.  Sorry - those rates only apply on Preventive Maintenance and Handyman type

issues that you would like your Contractor to perform - the Club rates do apply for

these.  From anything from cleaning gutters to changing a light bulb in a high

            ceiling situation.

  • Q.  So complete roofs or repairs are not included at special Club Rates - correct?

  • A.  Usually what your Contractor will do with you involved is to receive three

independent bids from local Contractors - including himself if he does roofs

if he doesn't he can still guide you in the right direction and explain the estimates

to you.  Estimates are not always apples to apples - the lowest bid is not always

the best bid and the highest bid doesn't guarantee a better job.  Your Contractor

is a Remodeling Contractor so there is a good chance he does roofs - or - he can

guide you to make the right choice - it's ultimately your decision

  • Q.  So if I decide to list my Home for Sale and the new Buyers want a Home

inspection do I still have to pay for it belonging to the Club?

  • A.  Well it's up to you but if you've been in the Club long enough to get an

"A Certification" on your Home you shouldn't have to get a Home Inspection -

unless of course the buyer wants to pay for it.  You can always show them

your on line maintenance records of all the items that were done

  • Q.  Is it true that I could receive better Insurance Rates on my Home by going through

             the Clubs Program?

  • A.  You'll have to check with your Insurance Company but more are recognizing these

types of programs - offering better rates.
